No War with Iran
Defend Our Freedom. Stop Another Endless War.
No matter who we are, most of us believe our lives should not be gambled away in another endless war.
We believe in our freedom to live without fear of reckless military escalation and the freedom of our loved ones to serve only when absolutely necessary, and only with the consent of the American people. Right now, the Trump regime is threatening to drag the United States into a broader war with Iran — without congressional authorization and without the consent of the American people.
Congress Has the Power to Declare War
The Constitution is clear: the power to declare war belongs to Congress. That authority is not symbolic, it is a duty. When any president bypasses Congress and moves us toward war unilaterally, it is a direct threat to democratic accountability. We have seen what happens when war powers go unchecked. We have lived the consequences of endless wars in the Middle East. We will not allow history to repeat itself.
Congress must act immediately to:
Force a vote under the War Powers Resolution.
Block funding for unauthorized military action.
Hold public oversight hearings before any further escalation.
Publicly oppose a war of choice.
This Is a Test of Leadership
Daines, Sheehy, and Zinke must decide:
Will they defend the Constitution?
Or will they allow a president to rule alone?
Republicans will not challenge Trump without massive public pressure.
And every member of Congress must hear clearly that Montanans reject another forever war.
Take Action Now
Call and email our congressional delegation today.
Tell them:
I oppose another unauthorized war in the Middle East. Congress has the constitutional duty to stop further escalation. Force a War Powers vote. Block funding for unauthorized military action. Protect our freedoms.
